Poems are a reflection of the writer’s mind. The poem is an ultimate outlet when happiness overflows or grief overshadows. An outlet for suppressed or unexpressed emotions. Poems are a boon to introverts. Speaking what goes on in the heart and brain becomes so easy. It is challenging for introverts to open up. Especially for emotional introverts, the mind becomes a battlefield in certain situations. Writing down poems helped me creatively express my thoughts. I still remember the small poems I wrote when I was a kid. I found writing, rhyming and connecting the real and imaginary worlds interesting.
