ये भूख भी बड़ी बेशरम है,
जेब देखकर नहीं आती।
इसे क्या पता, खर्चे पूरे करते करते,
जेब मैं एक चवन्नी नहीं टिकती।
गरीब इंसानों को ये ज्यादा है लगती।
अमीरों के घर ये कुछ खास नहीं टिकती।
पेट भर जात है इनका पैसों, ज़मीनों से ही।
जितना भी मिले, इनकी भूख नहीं मिटती।
टॉनिक लेते है ये भूख लगने के लिए,
गोली तक खाते है रात को सोने के लिए।
जानते नहीं ये सुकून का एक आसान सा तरीका।
अमीरज़ादों, पेट भरके देखना कभी किसी गरीब का।
गरीबों की होती है ये एक खासियत,
कुछ देते समय साफ दिखती है इनकी नीयत।
जेब मैं कुछ ना हो तो भी बाँटते फिरते है।
बड़ा दिल होता है इनकी सबसे बड़ी मिलकियत।
काश भूख कभी गरीबों को लगती ही नहीं।
अपने खाने के पैसे भी फिर ये लुटाते, किसी जरूरतमंद पर ही।
सो जाते आराम से ये सोचकर,
मैं नहीं, खुश वो ही सही।
भूख से है एक दिल से बिनती।
जिनके पास नहीं है पैसे, न ही अच्छी किस्मत चमकती।
मत जा उनके पास, जिन्हे खरीदने पड़ती है जीने की भी आस।
पर ये सच है, ऐसे लोग होते है खुदा के लिए खास।
ऐसे लोग रात को चैन से सोते है पक्का।
न किसी का दिल तोड़ते, न ही देते ये किसी को धोखा।
रहते है अपने में मस्त, एक दिन का जुगाड़ ही होता है सपना।
हर कोई लगता है, इन्हें परिवार का ही कोई अपना।
सिर्फ तभी तिलमिला उठते है ये बंदे खुदा के।
जब पेट चिल्लाता है जोर से चीखके।
सहन हो जाता है छोटा मोटा हर दुख।
सिर्फ रूह कांपती है, जब लगती है ये बेशरम भूख।
