Samiksha’s parents were devastated in their hotel room. Her father tried to pacify her mother but in vain. Both of them wished to see their only daughter, Samiksha.
“Why is everyone so relaxed? My daughter is nowhere, and no one is bothered. We made a big mistake by coming to Forno Beach for this vacation.”
“Please calm down. Roshan has promised to get Samiksha back. You trust him, right?”
“No, I do not trust anyone anymore. It’s been several days since I saw her face. And you are telling me to relax.”
“Listen, the abductor has demanded money. We will just give it to him and get our daughter back.”
“Will he harm her? Please give whatever money he demands.”
“Yes, I will. Please don’t get hyper. It will worsen your health more, dear.”

Roshan entered the room, responding to her last words.
“Roshan, what happened?”

Samiksha’s mom whispered slowly, “I don’t understand why he did this to us. I will ask him when I meet him.”
Fumbled by her words, Roshan quickly said, “No, Aunty. You are not aware of the limits of such people. They are dangerous. They might harm us also. I will handle this all alone. Uncle, he has demanded money in cash. Have you done the needful?”
“The amount is more. It’s taking time to get transferred, but it will soon process, and we shall just give it to that man.”
“Why is it taking time?”
“I have no idea. Maybe some technical issues.”
“Damn. This had to happen now. What do the bank people do? Don’t they have any backup when technical issues occur?”
“Relax, son. I know you are worried for Samiksha—we all are—but we have to wait a little more.”
Back at the villa,
Karan talked to his fellow men regarding surrender. Each one of them agreed and supported him.
“Raul, you know the details of the other abductors, right? We can pass this information on to the police to save at least a few innocent lives.”
“Yes, master. I will give you all the information I have. Needless to say, it’s time to sanctify our hands now.”
“Yes, I completely agree with Raul. It’s not going to be easy for any of us. But we have a chance to repent for our deeds. Let us not miss it.” Another fellow of the group spoke fearlessly.
Karan was happy and surprised to see the loyalty of his members.
In Sandra’s room, Samiksha sat beside her, holding her hands.
“You have no idea what you have gifted to me, Samiksha. God sent you to release my son from this sinful life.”
“And He sent your son to impart meaning to my life, Sandra. I am so blessed that he loves me. God saved me from making a wrong choice at the right time. I am indebted to him forever.”
“You both were made for each other. Only the right time had to come, child.”
“You are so right, Sandra. I mean, Mom, sorry, Aunty.”
“The first one sounded better. I loved to hear that more.”
Samiksha hugged Sandra and whispered,
“Alright … mom.”
In the hotel room, cash money was ready in bags. Samiksha’s father was prepared with the amount when Roshan announced,
“Uncle, I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to come. There will be danger. That place is not safe for you. Aunty, please tell Uncle.”
“Let him accompany you, son. At least you two will be together.”
“And who will take care of you here?”
“I will be fine. Now please go soon and get my daughter back. I need to see her. Please.”
“No, uncle. I am not going to take you with me. Please stay here. My friends are with me. We will take care of everything.”
“But Roshan …”
“No arguments. Please be with Aunty. I will be back soon with Samiksha.”
“Ok, son. Take care of yourself. It’s dangerous out there.”
“I will take care. See you both soon.”
Samiksha’s parents heavy-heartedly allowed him to go. Roshan kept his phone in his pocket and picked up the bags. He hurried towards the door, keeping one bag down. Opening the door, the person outside the door right in front of him almost gave him a heart attack.
He shouted, “Samiksha!”
