Choco-Marie Softies

Hello friends, I am back after a long time. But this new recipe will not disappoint you for sure. It’s super tasty Choco-Marie Softies. You can call them no-bake cake slices. As instant as the process is, their taste is awesome. Without wasting much time, let us see the procedure.

Ingredients :

250 gm Marie gold biscuits. (I used Britannia company’s)

Ghee/ Butter as required.

Milk as required.

Powdered sugar – 1 Tbsp ( Only if you like the more sweet taste, take 3)

250 ml Amul Milk Cream

1 Dairy milk Cadbury bar 123 g

Method :

Take the marie biscuits and grind them in a mixer. Transfer this mixture to a bowl.

For the chocolate spread, make pieces of Cadbury and put them in a bowl. Heat the milk cream till 1st boil. Add this to the chocolate pieces. Let it rest for about 5 minutes. Now mix it well with a whisker. Keep it aside.

To the mixture of marie biscuits powder, add powdered sugar. Mix it well. Add about 4 to 5 spoons of melted butter to it and again mix it well. Add milk to get a semi-solid soft dough. The texture of the dough should be similar to when we make chapati/ bread.

Divide this dough into 3 parts.

Now take a plastic sheet and place 1st ball. roll it into a 1cm layer. Apply the chocolate cream with a spoon on it evenly. Now take another plastic sheet, place the 2nd ball and roll out similarly. Place this layer on the 1st two layers. again apply the chocolate cream layer. Repeat the process with the 3rd and last ball but without the chocolate cream layer.

Slowly press these 5 layers and roll them using the plastic sheet below. Now wrap this roll tightly in the plastic sheet and refrigerate for about 4 hours.

Remove the roll and slowly unwrap it. Touch and test the firmness of the roll so as to cut it properly. Take a knife and cut slices. Serve them cold with chocolate cream topping (optional). Enjoy these super tasty choco marie softies.
