Conscience

Imagine yourself in a room without any people. Ensure you are alone. Is something still there with you? Yes. Your conscience. Now, imagine yourself in a crowd. Is it still with you? The answer is yes. You might leave your conscience, but it never leaves you. In short, conscience is a 24/7 CCTV camera that watches our thoughts, words, and actions, irrespective of our choice.

Conscience Is A 24/7 CCTV Camera That Watches Us

Our conscience and soul go hand in hand. Both either survive or perish together. It’s all in our hands, to keep them alive or destroy both.

Conscience often plays a significant role when you are in a conflict. To choose or not, to do or refrain are examples of situations that might cause a war between the brain and the heart. People with a clear conscience find it much easier to decide in such cases.

Sometimes, people with a clear conscience

end up losing other persons, only when they refuse to accept the truth. It’s a universal truth that no one likes to look in a mirror. This is precisely why people with a conscience are hated by the opposite lot.

Without a doubt, standing with the truth like a rock is like walking on the sharp edge of a sword. Your duties will point at what you should do. But your conscience will tell you what should be done. Surprisingly, choosing a moral life is much easier; it relieves you from the burden of conscience. It saves you from regrets and mental turmoil.

For example,

You don’t have to be answerable to anyone. You will find yourself ‘right’ almost all the time. The words ‘me’ ‘mine’ ‘my’ and ‘I’ are on my lips 24/7. Such people lead a peaceful life and sleep well at night too. Because they have mastered the art of ignoring. You heard it right. To forgive and move on is the mantra of a happy and satisfied life.

We are answerable to the Almighty after we die, right? So, why not live this life fully with luxury and adventure? Well, it’s always easier to choose a path without hurdles. But in the end, karma does exist. Today or tomorrow, one has to pay for the wrong done to others, whether it’s intentional or not. Our conscience is our better half, which helps us to be on the right path.

Choosing whether or not to do so is up to us.

Now, imagine yourself in a crowd again. Did you find your conscience with you? If yes, then keep it in your bank locker. It’s a commodity which never ever loses its value. In the stock market, it’s a virtue which is of the highest value and will never lose its value. It’s free from the tag of old and new generations. So, if you still have your conscience, be proud and preserve it.
