The noise of rain falling added music to the sweet, memorable moment. As the window doors were open, their fluttering caused by the blowing wind made noise. Water started entering through the open window, as their bed was close to it. Karan got up to close the doors. He was worried that the water would make her wet again. Then he returned to his chair and went to sleep within minutes.

Samiksha noticed his features, like those of a Greek God. Slowly, she walked towards him. With utmost care, she embraced him from behind, ensuring his sleep was not disturbed. At this point, she was sure that she wanted no one other than him as her life partner. His delicacy while protecting her, his firmness when required, and his selfless love made Samiksha proud of her choice. Smiling to herself with the thought that he belonged to her, she slept.

It was morning.

They got up and took a shower. When Karan asked her if she would like to stay for more days there, her reply was,
“No. I wish to get back to you as soon as possible. So that our dreams can turn into reality. And, we would belong to each other, forever.”

Outside, the roads were still full of water in some places. But now it was possible to travel in a few hours.
“It’s illegal to look so divine, madam,” Karan teased Samiksha when he saw her.
“Is it legal to look so hot, Mr. Karan? ” She questioned him.
“Hmm. Forget the legal, illegal matters.”
The knock on the door interrupted his sentence.
“Relax. I am opening the door. It must be room service.”

Karan opened the door.
“Sir, your coffee.”
“Thanks, brother. Are the roads clear now? Is it safe to drive?”
“Yes, sir. You may.”
“Thanks,” Karan smiled and closed the door.
